Energy Efficiency Policies, Programs, and Practices in the Midwest: A Resource Guide for Policymakers
Energy Efficiency has a long and successful history in the Midwest, and investments continue to grow. Midwest Energy Efficiency Alliance originally released Energy Efficiency Policies, Programs, and Practices in the Midwest: A Resource Guide for Policymakers in 2012 to provide a snapshot of the energy efficiency policies that underlie these efforts, and to identify best practices that could be adopted by other policymakers.
We have updated this resource guide for 2014 with new information and data regarding the current state of energy efficiency policies across the Midwest, as well as new best practice information across a variety of policies and programs. In addition, new sections have been added on topics such as benchmarking and energy usage disclosure as well as stakeholder engagement in the policy development process.
As energy efficiency continues to grow across the region, MEEA will continue to identify and promote best practices in policy and program design and to be the source for energy efficiency information in the Midwest.
